Hi folks.
For the last post of 2011 I want to share the birthday card I just made for my aunt. It's a little late (she's known me my whole life - it won't surprise her!).
I coloured Louie from Digistamp Boutique using promarkers, using the "round and round" technique which makes him look fluffy. He is matted on baja breeze SU cardstock and finished off with some sunny yellow ribbon from Papertreyink. [edit - I am aware I forgot to colour in his other hand!! now remedied :)]

Last Christmas card of 2011
I made this using my favourite cartridge, Create-A-Critter. I REALLY wish PC would ask Nancy Kubo to do another cartridge - her style is just perfect for Cricut. I live in hope, anyway!!
This was my boyfriends card, a darling little penguin stood outside his igloo house :D Of course this warranted LOTS of glitter, which I applied liberally to his house and scarf.
I hope you all have great new year celebrations. I am ill at the moment (sore throat that has stolen my voice!!) so we'll be staying in watching something good. I might have a drink for "medicinal purposes" ;)
Love you you all and have a safe 2012.

Harry Potter card
Hi folks.
I needed to make a card for my boyfriend's best friend, Paul who is HP mad :) These are the wizard/wizardette digi's from Tiddly Inks. I halved the card front, sprayed the bottom with silver glitter spray and topped and bottomed with torn "river rock" card from Stampin up. The font I downloaded from DaFont.com
Images coloured with Promarkers.

I am alive... honest!
Hi bloggers and bloggettes!
Well I know it has been an age since I posted anything - my life has been going at 100 miles an hour and work has been a HUGE part of that. So after delivering some HUGE projects, I went through a restructure and I got a promotion!!! It starts in January and I am hoping to have a few calm weeks until I have to learn my new job and hopefully that'll mean I can get some creations posted. I am following you all though :) I love seeing what you make.
Also had a nice parcel yesterday! Provocraft had cause to say "sorry" to me (it's a long story!) and they sent me three cartridges!! I got Art Philosophy, Winter Woodland and Simply Charmed. I haven't liberated them from their plastic yet so that is on my list of things to do tonight :)
I am really looking forward to my weekend - we'll go to Solihull and pick up some final Christmas presents, then come home and put the tree up :) I also want to go to Lakeland to get some decorations for our new house - I can't wait to see this place all festive :)
I hope you're all ok anyway - keep posting!

My Mum's Mothers Day card!
I really enjoyed making this, I have a real thing about bunting at the moment so I knew that Mums card would probably have it on :)
It was really simply paper pieced using SU Designer Paper, a couple of buttons and some crochet string :)

New Home Card
Hi folks
This is actually the 2nd of this design that I have made but I needed the 1st in a hurry and didn't get a chance to take a picture.
I haven't made a pedestal card in a while, I should really try to make one that is a different shape (Lou, expect some plaintive IM's asking you what the heck I should be doing :)
This is a cute Digistamp Boutique digi, coloured using ProMarkers and matted onto Stampin' Up! DSP.

Miiiiike Wazowski!!!
So I made this card this morning for my lovely Nephew whose is 6 on the 17th, which makes me feel far too old!!!
I Cricut a lot and SU cardstock is my favourite to cut. It is great quality, doesn't tear or snag in the machine and you can match most of the colours REALLY well with Disney/Pixar which I enjoy cutting.
Pear Pizazz is absolutely the best colour for Mike, I used Basic Black for the base, Sahara Sand for his horns and nails, Whisper white for his eye and teeth and Soft Suede for his tongue. Baha Breeze (my absolute favourite colour) was perfect for his eye and I brought out more of the colour using Baha Breeze for the background and Baha Breeze DSP for an accent.
I find matching fifty times easier since SU released the Colour Coach in the latest catalogue, mine is already well loved :) I use it most days!

Valentine's Day Cards
Hi all
I set myself a little challenge to make a couple of valentines day cards without
using black or red :)
I scored the first card blank with single lines to create a frame.
Then I used my mini heart punch. I think this is my absolute favourite punch of the moment, it's so cute! I love the new design punches SU too, they are so much easier to store, which means you can have more of them.... :)
The first card is a simple geometric style, with different coloured hearts arranged using dimensionals straight onto the card base. I used the "now&forever" stamp from the Occasional Greetings stamp set.
For the second, I scored double lines for the frame, then punched lemon and pink hearts and glued them on so they so they were "tumbling" in the frame.
I cut two slices each side of the frame and threaded through some Whisper White Organza ribbon (my absolute favourite!!) and tied a bow in the front
I think it could do with a sentiment at the bottom but I don't have anything linear enough, I might get brave and hand-write something, I doubt it though :)
